This job in Lenah Valley was a picture frame style TV mounted flush to the wall, along with a new antenna outlet to feed it.
Why picture frame TVs need careful mounting
Picture frame TVs are designed to look like artwork on the wall when they’re not in use, often with a timber style frame around the screen. The whole point is that they sit flat against the wall, without a gap behind them and without cables hanging down underneath. A standard tilting bracket, or a TV outlet left in the wrong place, spoils the look straight away.
That means planning the outlet and power position before the TV goes up, not after.

What we did
The TV was positioned centred above the TV unit at a comfortable viewing height. A new antenna outlet was installed behind where the screen would sit, so the antenna cable connects directly without anything visible below the frame. The TV was then fitted on a slim, flush wall mount, fixed securely into the wall, and levelled so the frame sits square with the room.
Once it was up, we connected the antenna, scanned for channels and checked every station was coming through with a clean picture.
It is worth thinking about extras before the TV goes up, too. If a soundbar or set top box might be added later, the outlet and power can be positioned to suit, which saves pulling the TV back off the wall.
The result
A TV that looks like a framed picture on the wall, with no cables in sight, and full free-to-air reception through the new outlet.
