This project involved the installation of a Starlink satellite internet system together with a long-range WiFi distribution network, providing reliable internet access across approximately 30 acres of property in Adventure Bay.
For larger rural and lifestyle properties, getting fast internet into the home is only part of the solution. Standard WiFi routers have limited range, making it difficult to maintain a reliable connection in sheds, workshops, guest accommodation and other buildings located around the property.
For this installation, the Starlink dish was mounted on a tall, heavy-duty roof mast to provide a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. This elevated position helps maximise connection stability while ensuring the system performs reliably throughout the year.
To extend internet coverage beyond the home, a long-range wireless network was installed to distribute the Starlink connection across the property. This allows multiple buildings and outdoor areas to benefit from the same high-speed internet connection without the need for extensive underground cabling.
Whether it’s supporting remote work, security cameras, smart farm equipment, guest accommodation or simply providing reliable internet throughout the property, a professionally designed wireless network ensures connectivity reaches where it’s needed most.
