This project involved the installation of a Starlink satellite internet system alongside a VHF antenna system at a property in Sandford, providing the homeowners with reliable internet access and dependable free-to-air television reception.
Properties in elevated coastal locations can benefit greatly from professionally installed communications systems. Starlink requires a clear, unobstructed view of the sky to maintain a stable satellite connection, while a VHF antenna needs to be positioned at the correct height and aligned accurately to achieve the strongest possible television signal.
For this installation, both systems were mounted on heavy-duty roof masts to maximise their performance. The Starlink dish was installed in a position with excellent satellite visibility, while the VHF antenna was mounted separately to optimise television reception without compromising either system.
