This project involved the installation of a Starlink satellite internet system at a property in Moogara, providing the homeowners with fast, reliable internet through a professionally installed rooftop system.
Properties surrounded by tall trees and natural bushland often present challenges for satellite internet installations. Starlink requires a clear, unobstructed view of the sky to communicate with its satellite network, so careful planning is essential to determine the ideal mounting location and height.

For this installation, the Starlink dish was mounted on a tall, heavy-duty roof mast with additional bracing to elevate it well above the roofline. This extra height allows the dish to see over nearby trees, helping reduce signal obstructions and providing a stronger, more consistent connection throughout the day. The robust mounting system also provides excellent stability, ensuring the installation is well suited to Tasmania’s changing weather conditions.
As with every Starlink installation, careful attention was given to secure mounting, neat cable routing and long-term durability. By selecting the optimal location and using quality mounting hardware, the system is designed to deliver reliable performance for years to come.
The completed installation provides the homeowners with dependable high-speed satellite internet that’s ideal for streaming, remote work, online learning, video calls and everyday internet use, even in a heavily treed rural environment.
