This project involved the installation of a new VHF antenna system at a property in Rosny, providing the homeowners with reliable free-to-air television reception through a professionally installed rooftop antenna.

With homes positioned close together in established suburbs, achieving the best possible TV reception often depends on selecting the right antenna location. Nearby rooftops, surrounding buildings and local terrain can all influence signal quality, making professional placement and alignment essential.
For this installation, the VHF antenna was mounted on a guyed roof mast to provide additional height and improve signal reception above the surrounding rooflines. The mast was securely braced with support wires, helping maintain long-term stability while ensuring the antenna remains correctly aligned, even during Tasmania’s windy weather.
Once the mounting position was established, the antenna was carefully aligned towards the broadcast transmitters to maximise signal strength and deliver consistent reception across all available free-to-air channels. The installation was completed with secure fixings and neatly routed cabling, resulting in a tidy finish that complements the home.
The completed installation provides the homeowners with dependable television reception through a professionally installed VHF antenna system that’s built for reliable performance and long-term durability.
