We were recently called out to install a Starlink system at a rural property in Dover. With patchy mobile reception and no wired broadband available, the owners were looking for a dependable, high-speed solution for everyday use – including streaming, video calls, and working from home.
We mounted the Starlink dish on a custom galvanised pole, securely fixed to the roofline and guyed for stability. This gave the system a clear, unobstructed view of the sky – crucial for strong satellite signal. All cables were neatly run back to the modem, which we installed in a central location inside the home for optimal Wi-Fi coverage.
Once powered up, the system connected within minutes. Download speeds were immediately fast and consistent, making a huge difference to how the clients could stay connected and get things done.
