This installation of a Starlink satellite internet system at a property in Sandfly provides the homeowners with reliable high-speed internet in a bushland setting where traditional internet services can often be limited.
Every Starlink installation is different, and this property required a solution that balanced performance with the surrounding environment. With mature trees surrounding much of the property, the dish needed to be positioned where it could achieve the clearest possible view of the sky while remaining securely mounted and easily accessible for future servicing if required.

For this installation, the Starlink dish was mounted on a braced roof mast attached to a shed roof. The elevated position allowed the dish to rise above nearby rooflines and surrounding vegetation, improving satellite visibility while keeping the installation neat and unobtrusive. The braced mounting system also provides excellent rigidity, helping maintain accurate positioning during Tasmania’s changing weather conditions.
As with every installation, attention was given to secure cable routing, weather-resistant mounting hardware and a tidy finish. By selecting the most suitable location on the property, the homeowners now have a Starlink system that’s designed to deliver dependable performance for years to come.
The completed installation provides fast, reliable internet for streaming, remote work, video conferencing, online learning and everyday internet use, ensuring the property remains well connected despite its peaceful rural surroundings.
